TWO MEN AND A TRUCK LAUNCHES MOVIE “MAKE THE RIGHT MOVE”

Two Men And A Truck has just released a humorous and educational mini-movie that demonstrates the potential differences between hiring an AFRA-accredited removalist and a cheaper, amateur alternative.

Make The Right Move explores two very different scenarios of a woman who moves house, and also includes an interview with advice from AFRA spokesperson, Natalie Watson.

“The two films certainly showcase how different the moves can be,” Natalie says.

“AFRA members are governed and have to adhere to strict guidelines and can offer full insurance to its clients,” she says.

“Non members aren’t governed and cannot offer full insurance.”

The association only accredits removalists that have necessary equipment, vehicles, premises and staff training needed to complete a professional move.

They also provide an independent review process for customers who wish to lodge a complaint.

Martyn Beardmore wrote the script for the 15-minute movie, and has worked in the industry for more than 15 years.

“It highlights areas of concern that people may not be aware of when booking a removalist such as training, insurance, professionalism, care taken and overall standard of service,” he says.

AFRA’s Natalie Watson advises customers to look for an AFRA-accredited member on the AFRA website www.afra.com.au before moving house.

“Sometimes people choose a non AFRA member because of the price. That really compromises the quality of work they’ll be receiving,” she says.

“Just like if you book a plumber who is cheaper, the quality of work may not be as good. There is no accountability for a non AFRA member.”
